Nadja Vielot, PhD

 Dr. Vielot is an epidemiologist with research interests in infectious diseases, vaccine-preventable diseases, and global health. She uses real-world data, including public and private insurance claims and electronic health records, to evaluate post-licensure vaccine use, effectiveness, and safety. She also works closely with clinical par

 Dr. Vielot is an epidemiologist with research interests in infectious diseases, vaccine-preventable diseases, and global health. She uses real-world data, including public and private insurance claims and electronic health records, to evaluate post-licensure vaccine use, effectiveness, and safety. She also works closely with clinical partners to improve vaccine delivery in primary health care settings using implementation science methods. Globally, Dr. Vielot has worked in sub-Saharan Africa and Latin America fielding epidemiologic studies on infectious diseases that affect children (viral gastroenteritis) and women (human papillomavirus, group B Streptococcus).

Karin is the Director- Program Development and Community Partnerships with The Arizona Partnership for Immunization (TAPI), a state-wide Immunization Coalition. She spent over ten years working as the Marketing and Project Manager for TAPI. Again, working with partners to drive immunization access and education. Managing social media, bra

Karin is the Director- Program Development and Community Partnerships with The Arizona Partnership for Immunization (TAPI), a state-wide Immunization Coalition. She spent over ten years working as the Marketing and Project Manager for TAPI. Again, working with partners to drive immunization access and education. Managing social media, branding, project grants and representing TAPI in a variety of workgroups and coalitions. 

Prior to her current role, she was the North Carolina Engagement Manager with Benefits Data Trust (BDT) from 2020-2024. BDT utilized data and technology to streamline access to public benefits. 

Karin holds a BA in Sociology from Westminster College and a MEd in Human Relations from NAU.
